Leaded Stained Glass Classes with Visiting Artist Kristin Colletta

This March, I’m so excited to welcome guest instructor Kristin Colletta for a special series of leaded stained glass classes. Kristin is not only an incredibly skilled and thoughtful glass artist — she’s also a friend and someone I’ve personally learned from. I first took her classes at the Glass Craft & Bead Expo in Las Vegas, where her teaching style immediately stood out: clear, generous, and deeply rooted in both technique and creativity. (She’ll be back there again this year teaching even more classes, too.)

Kristin brings a rare mix of approachability and depth, making her classes a great fit whether you’re brand new to stained glass or ready to build on skills you already have. These workshops are hands-on, small-group, and very much in the spirit of slow down, learn something meaningful, and make something beautiful with your own hands.​

Stained Glass Suncatchers with Hobby Came — In this approachable workshop, you’ll learn how hobby came frames and strengthens copper-foiled glass as you build your own sparkling suncatcher to take home. Beginner-friendly and fun.

Framing Techniques in Stained Glass: Hobby Came & Zinc — Take your work to the next level by learning how to finish copper-foiled projects with solid framing using hobby came, lead U-came, and zinc came. Complete 2–3 small projects with guidance from our expert instructors.

Traditional Leaded Stained Glass Workshop — Explore the historic art of leaded stained glass in this half-day intensive. Learn classic assembly and construction techniques while creating your own geometric panel using this timeless method.
