Learn stained glass or fused glass in a focused, one-on-one (or small group) setting designed to help you build real skills while creating something you’re proud of.

Private instruction is ideal if you want a personalized experience, flexible pacing, or support with a specific project.

What to Expect

Sessions are hands-on, structured, and tailored to your experience level.

You can choose your focus:

• Stained Glass (Copper Foil Method) — cutting, shaping, foiling, soldering, and finishing

• Fused Glass — cutting, layering, design, and kiln-formed projects

We’ll guide you through the full process, with an emphasis on clean technique and thoughtful design.

Project Scope

For your first project, we recommend:

• Simple, intentional designs

• A manageable size (typically under 10” x 10”)

• A clear focus on learning foundational skills

You’re welcome to bring an idea, or we can help you choose a project that fits your goals.

Time & Investment

Instruction
$95/hour (for up to 2 people)

Most projects take 2–7 hours total, depending on the process:

• Fused glass projects are typically completed in a single session (with kiln firing after)

• Stained glass projects are completed over multiple sessions

Materials

• Starter kit (stained glass only): $30/person

• Glass purchased separately (typically $40–$100 depending on project)

• Kiln firing included for fused glass

All tools and studio equipment are included.

Before Your Session

You can choose your glass ahead of time in the studio, or we can incorporate material selection into your first session.

If you have an idea or reference image, feel free to send it over — we’ll make sure it’s a good fit before you begin.

Due to the use of lead during soldering, we do not recommend students that are pregnant or breastfeeding participate in stained glass instruction.​​​
